Volunteer Information:

All volunteers must be fully vaccinated (any recommendations for additional vaccines required for travel are obtained by MBM from the CDC and potential volunteers are informed), require a valid passport which must expire six (6) or more months after mission’s scheduled return date, and must be at least 21 years old, unless accompanied by a responsible adult. MBM handles the processing of all required visas to the mission country from the US, provides ground transportation to /from hospital/clinic site, and a minimum of two meals per day.
Professional volunteers (M.D.s, RNs, DPMs, PharmDs, OTs/PTs/STs, etc.) must hold, and submit a copy with their application of a US license to practice in their field and a brief bio statement. (Volunteers are encouraged to bring portable equipment/supplies that will facilitate procedures or treatments they anticipate performing during the mission).

**Medications needed - Antibiotics, anti-hypertensives and diabetes medications, respiratory inhalers, antibiotic ointments
Gloves, face masks & shields, surgical sutures, dressings, sterile gloves and supplies, etc.
Airline miles, Hotel, Air BnB, or timeshare points, cash donations to purchase supplies
**Please note, ALL medications must have more than six months before expiration to come into most countries. NO expired drugs should be brought in.
